GLASS HARMONIUM (Verglas - Spring Symphony) became Ballymacoll Stud's 28th individual Group 1 winner with triumph in the Longines Mackinnon Stakes (Gr1) over 1m2f on Saturday at Flemington racecourse in Melbourne, Australia. Leading from the off, Glass Harmonium was never headed and won by a comfortable 3/4 of a length. 

 

Since being sold by Ballymacoll at the end of the 2010 season Glass Harmonium has been a consistent performer at the highest level in Australia. This year he has won the Al Basti Equiworld Eagle Farm Cup (Gr2), and been beaten a short head and a 1/4l in two Group 1 races.
