MODUN (King's Best - Olympienne) has been sold by Ballymacoll Stud to Sheikh Mohammed's Godolphin racing operation. Godolphin have announced Australia's premier race, the Melbourne Cup Gr 1, as his inteded target. Following that he is to be campainged in the Dubai Racing Carnival next spring.

 

Modun could be joined in Flemington racecourse by Ballymacoll bred Saptapadi (Indian Ridge - Olympienne) and Glass Harmonium (Verglas - Spring Symphony). Both of whose connections have also confirmed their intentions to run in the Melbourne Cup.
