CONDUIT (by Dalakhani ex Well Head) led home an amazing 1-2 finish for Ballymacoll in 2009 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by Betfair), Gr 1, at Ascot. He won by 1 3/4 lengths from the gallant TARTAN BEARER, who had his second runner up finish in a Group 1 in a row.

 

This brought Ballymacoll its fiftieth winner at the highest level from twenty seven individual horses. This was also Sir Michael Stoute's twentieth Group 1 win for Ballymacoll. Sir Michael created history with the first ever 1-2-3 in the race, with Group 1 winner Ask in third place behind the Ballymacoll pair.
