Ballymacoll Stud owned and bred TARTAN BEARER, follows in the footsteps of NORTH LIGHT by winning the Gr 2 totesport.com Dante Stakes at York. He was ridden by Ryan Moore and is trained by Sir Michael Stoute.

 

Tartan Bearer, by SPECTRUM out of HIGHLAND GIFT, is a full brother to 2000 Guineas and King George winner GOLAN. Tartan Bearer like Golan is a true homebred, since both his sire and dam were bred by Ballymacoll Stud.

 

LANG SHINING nearly completed a quick double for Ballymacoll, when he was narrowly beaten into second, in the Bank of Scotland Corporate Hambleton Stakes Listed handicap.
